ABOUT
Eve Machin is a producer, composer and consultant with a focus on music, community, and cultural programming.
As a freelance composer, Eve has produced soundtracks for short film and theatre since 2014 including productions at the Royal Court Theatre and Edinburgh Fringe. She has undertaken training programs at the National Film and Television School and Birmingham Conservatoire.
With three years of experience at the BBC across distribution and production, Eve’s work has supported broadcasts and collaborations with leading composers for radio and television.
Eve has founded several community-focused projects to increase access and diversity in grassroots music scenes, including co-founding Where are the Girlbands? which supports women musicians in Liverpool. Working with organisations such as Shakespeare North Playhouse and Dr Martens, WATGB delivers gigs, workshops and initiatives that support local artists and venues, and held a residency at Melodic Distraction Radio.
Eve is currently a Trustee for Liverpool Sound City Festival and was selected for the BBC’s Next Generation Committee 2025/6 (deferred).
Eve is currently completing a Master of Philosophy in cultural studies at Cambridge University.
